R2D Syunik project has officially signed a contract with its third and final strategic partner under the Private Sector Development component. The new partner is CARD (Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development) Foundation in Armenia.
Founded in 2005, CARD Foundation is a leading Armenian non-profit organization working to improve rural livelihoods and promote sustainable economic development through agribusiness support, innovation, and capacity building. With years of experience in agricultural value chains, rural entrepreneurship, and food processing, CARD is well positioned to guide and empower local businesses in Syunik.
This new partnership will specifically focus on boosting agro-processing businesses and startups – one of the region’s most vital and promising sectors for economic development. The support will include technical assistance, targeted training, access to networks, and investment readiness programs tailored to the unique needs of Syunik’s entrepreneurs.
With all three strategic partners now on board, R2D Syunik is ready to fully deliver comprehensive support to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises across the region.
The contract signing, which took place on July 1, marked a significant milestone in the implementation of the project.
