What is Team Europe?
Team Europe is a collection of initiatives, aiming to scale and focus the joint effort of the European Union, its member states, external partners and European financial institutions with the goal of achieving transformational impact.
Team Europe approach - Working better together on the basis of three elements:
1. Scale - Coordinating and combining resources, expertise and tools.
2. Focus - Becoming a principal partner on selected joint priorities.
3. Ensuring visibility - Joining forces to communicate European values and the impact of joint actions to partner countries.
What is the Resilient Syunik Team Europe Initiative?
The Resilient Syunik Team Europe Initiative is the joint undertaking of the European Union, the European Investment Bank and EU Member states Austria, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden, with Switzerland also joining as an external partner. The main objective of this #TeamEurope initiative is to contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic and institutional development of the Syunik region, taking coordinated action in line with the development priorities of the regional and local authorities in the Armenia-European Union flagship initiative focusing on the area. The initiative is a flexible mechanism, it may be further expanded and is open for member states to join with new initiatives to promote the development of the Syunik region.
